Check your map sensor. could be also your ignition switch. check that you have spark in each cylinder.

is it bogging out or just cutting out smoothly???

i'd like to save my money on buying new cap, rotor and plugs if we have the same symptoms??

no bogging at all ..just fires and dies right away then it only cranks over let it sit for a few and fire right up.. run fine after it starts but every 3rd or 4 day it goes though this won`t start crap the cap and wire stuff made it run better but didn`t fix the starting at all

Got the exact same problem with my 90 teg. Does anybody think it might be the main fuel relay? Maybe the ignitor? I played around with my main fuel relay last night and it starts and then, after it warms up I will turn it off and it won't start again.

80% of the time, this is a MFR's problem. Get it changed and the problem should go away. Good luck.

Yup! It was the MFR! Check out the above site (just the first part, don't try to fix the relay, it won't be worth your time). I had the exact same problems with my car. It would not start when it was hot, play with the key for a little while or let it sit and it would start. Sometimes after a short run (like getting gas) the car won't start after it has been turned off. Started and died on me after a few seconds like, 5 times in a row. Got a new relay today and I haven't had a problem starting the car now.
