Default problem with h22(posted in prelude forum too)

OK so i was driving today, and i needed to switch lanes before someone hit me.... i noticed that i had much less power than normal.... so i justa waited untill 4600 rpm for vtec to kick, right when vtec kicked in i lost ALL power, and it was like the rev limiter turned on.. i have NO CEL, oil is good.... oh yah and there is some ticking in the motor when you listen to it.. someone please help me!! thx in advance

sounds like you may have bent your valves in your motor have you over revved it lately

just got back from changing out vtec cylaniods(sp?!), adn checking most of the wiring. so no verdict, gunna try the ecu tomorrow

ahh that blows man.

do a compression test and let us konw the results.

also pull your sprk plugs and see waht the deal is.

dont flip out yet, check your vacum lines may be your wiring is not attached strongly
it dosent sound like a valve problem.
