h22 swap
I've heard of it being done for $4K total. What's jacking up my price is the new engine in old car. Older Prelude engines (4th gen) are more compatible with older electrical systems etc.
Hi, me again. I didn't realize you were just asking for the price of the motor, not the whole swap. My 2000 motor/tranny with less than 5K miles on it cost $4K (seemed like a good deal but I've had to spend a lot getting the thing converted to OBD 1 with new ECU, distributor, fuel rail, and fuel injectors). 4th gen Lude motors/tranny combos go for $3K or under... expect 30K miles or more on those.
