Pics and Video from a close call during Car Guys at VIR
As everybody who participates in this sport knows, there is quite a bit of risk involved, and if you continue to put your car on track, you will eventually spin or be involved in an incident. Diane is an excellent driver, (I have ridden with her), but spinning is part of pushing your car to it's limit, and it will eventually happen to everybody. Luckily there were no impacts in this incident and nobody was hurt. Thanks to Diane for being a good sport and letting me post these clips. What you can't see is the train of cars behind me who were also trying to decide which way to go.

My comments are on this thread from the comp board. (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=55857) I was glad Robert had a camera on. It's VERY helpful in figuring out what exactly happened...
Something about Will and Robert just makes me want to spin...

Blazin~ Thanks for the props on my nice move.. but, the miata driver is in no way a novice.. she is a qualified instructor, and as we all know, everybody who puts their car on track will eventually spin. It's part of the game.
Yep, I'm sure I'll get my taste soon
From just working at a station this past weekend I learned alot, and also learned that Diane knows what she's doing. I'm just glad that everyone was okay and enjoyed the weekend
Can't wait until North Course

Robert,
What exhaust did you end up running?
If you don't spin every once in a while, you don't know the limits of your car.

Great video. That PY ITR in front of you is quick. Straight up left you in the straight section. Looks fun as hell.
