Which size exhaust piping?
I ordered up my greddy turbo kit from KS today and was now looking into getting an exhuast to go on with the install. I am probably going to go with KTeller8's piping and was looking for sizing recommendations. I will be running 8psi probably. Also, if I straight pipe it to the muffler with no cat or resonator, am I going to get that "dirt bike" sound, as that is the last thing I want. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Well, I think 2.5" is best for your application although normally 2.5" is slightly higher pitched sounding than 3". I have a 3" system with no cat or resonator and it is very deep and on the loud side, but it sounds nothing like a motorcycle.
Well, describe what your idea of a ricemobile sounds like. I do not think my car sounds like a ricemobile, my old neighbors car does though. He had a 99 Si with a N1 style muffler. It sounded too high pitched and ricey IMO. Mine is octaves deeper, it is kind of funny to me because the exhaust note doesn't seem to match the car now haha.
Well that being the case, you better stick with the stock system.
No seriously, go with a 2.5" system with as long of a resonator possible, and keep the cat to help with the sound level. I would also recommend a baffled muffler rather than straight-through as this will also keep the sound more under control. My .02.

hook up your downpipe to a solenoid that opens with a switch in the cabin of the car. When its closed, you can run the turbo through stock exaust. Decreases performance, but very quiet and stock sounding. When open, you have open down pipe, no restriction. Total power. Thats what cheezefrog does.

but If your after that stock sound, i would ditch the turbo kit then
