this might have been covered here before but here it goes. Recently i changed my tranny fluid and after i've noticed that my idle is slightly above 1k. I dont know if the tranny fluid change has anything to do with it though. Any ideas? or comments from personal experiences? Thanks in advance.

Check for vacuum leaks. May have been a coincidence that it happened after you changed your tranny fluid.

 

why don't you lower it with the set screw.

well, i think fast94gsr means the idle screw on the throttle body. i helped my friend do this on his gsr, i think turn clockwise to raise idle and counterclockwise to lower idle. hope this helps.
