Default JDM ITR conversion RHD......pros vs. cons

I just purchased a front clip off of a jdm itr, and it is coming chopped at the top of the windsheild and is coming with the dashboard, steering wheel, panels, etc. I am deciding wether to do a right hand drive conversion on it, and was wondering if anybody had an opinion on which way to go with it... I could take it to a frame shop and have them chop mine and weld the new front onto mine and put my engine in it, or i could just put the conversion on mine and do the firewall modifications on mine. Does anybody have an opinion on the easier way to go about this? And what all is involved? If any of you have done this on your own please share as much as you can...thanks

You would be spending a lot of money and/or time on absolutely nothing if you ask me. Just so dipshit JDM jockers can run up to your car and go WOW a JDM Integra! Woooooo!!!!

Money is much better spent elsewhere if you ask me. Make use of the front end, forget the rhd ****.

Why? Do you really want to drive on the wrong side of the car? Think about when you have to back up, etc. Plus, it could compromise the structural integrity of your car while costing you $$$$$. You could use that loot on the engine instead. I just think it's a big waste to look "JDM".

Ya that's all that I was planning on doing...but then I found out that the people I was ordering the front end conversion from were going to go ahead and throw the rest of it in...so i figured i might as well look into it...I ended up purchasing the whole front clip including everything for 1600 including shipping...which is one hell of a deal...so i figured i'd look into it...thanks for the opinions...

Do the front end conversion and sell off the rest to somebody else. Too much of a hassle just to be driving on the right side

Lies!

I get clips at Cost through my importer (we order doezens of these a month) and we pay 3200.00 Per clip.

Unless you are talking about just a clip with no motor in it.

The man has a good point. Think about the hassle, do you reall want to compromise not being able to go through "left-hand-driven" drive thrus?

For all the work and hassle .
But if you ignore me and still proceed with it then for you.

cheers
