Accourding to all my searching i have found out that there were no SIs made White with a Blue interior. Some how this guy im making arrangments with to purchase an si has one that is white with blue interior.

Does anyone on this board have one? I think he's pulling my leag, but i can't be sure. maybe its kinda custom and i haven't see the pics YET to confirm anything. He says its a really dark blue. I don't know.

can anyone confirm or denie this information for me?

 

I thought they only came in black and the special-edition-only-3-car-made-for-canada tan. Perhaps he's color blind?

it might be custom, but that would be even worse... i like stock interiors.

 

to my knowledge i thought only HF/DX came with the blue. And Si's came with black interior, even the white ones. Cause my friend owns a white Si.

 

NO Si's ever came with blue interior. Its a DX or HF trying to pass for an Si, check for a sunroof, MPFI, rear disc brakes depending on the year 90-91, lip, door panels, and if it still as the stock exhaust make sure its as a dual tip. Just make sure to do your homework before you get ripped off.

I bet it's an HF converted to an SI, this guy is trying to scam you, watch out!

 

Are the mirrors painted the same colour as the body? Is there an Si badge on the back? Is there holes in the headrests? Is there a wiper on the rear window? Is there a power sunroof? If you answer no to any of these questions then it is not an Si.

I saw a 91 hatch at the JY w/ DX looking interior, a stock looking D16A6 & a sunroof that was 1/2 the size of the Si sunroof's. It could have been aftermarket, but it all looked completely stock. So there could potentially be some wierd dealer options out there I guess.....

Hello crxforum, I hate to disagree with you again. But, I'm going to.
In the US, at least there were no CRX's with painted mirrors stock
from Honda. Some one can correct me if they know of a stock CRX, with painted mirrors. ( for me if I'm wrong)
And you could get the rear wiper on the DX in the US. Mine has one.
I'm very unsure of the sunroof availability in US DX models, but it is
a possiblity.
But, I do agree with the headrests/ holes.
To make sure unequiviclly it's an Si though, just check the VIN.
ALL 2G CRX Si's ARE "ED9" in both US and Canada.
DX's are "ED8" But, I can't remember if Hf's are ED8 or ED9 though, I'll
have to check my CRX factory books.

thanks for all the input... I ended up never hearing from him again so i think it was bogus. I did find a great condition 91 SI for a small sum of money....look for pick this week coming for pics...its kinda ricey , but i bought it that way.
