h&r question
I have the sport springs, but there not on yet, here's my question, would it be ok iff I used kyb gr2's. I dont have a lot of $ so the illumina are out of the question or any other suggestions
I thought the gr-2's were just a slight upgrade of the OEM shocks, leading me to believe that they won't be the best option. The AGX's wont even be able to handle a 3" drop.
The GR-2's should be more than fine. If you dont need adjustability, which most of us dont, forget the hype, why pay more?
I would go for Tokico Blues/Koni Reds/KYB GR2s, whichever you can score cheaper. Maybe a preference towards Reds for their slight adjustability, but only if the price is right IMO.

I'd like to know that myself, but the truth remains that my car is about 3" lower than stock... measuring from both the center of the wheel to the fender edge, and measuring the overall height of the car and comparing to stock spec has confirmed this. They did not sag, it's been like that all along.
I highly do NOT recommend GR-2's or Tokico Blues, it will be basically like putting the springs on stock shocks. My friend had Neuspeed Race on Blues and it was absolutely horrible, the most terrible ride evAr!

ALL H&R springs sag more than any spring Ive ever seen. Sports usually end up a bit over 2". The OEs arent bad, they usually settle around 1-1.25".
Ive had my Sportline/Tokico blue setup for ~3yrs with no problems whatsoever. Ride is actually pretty stiff, not bouncy and I dont regret it one bit. Im over 2" with no problems and glad I saved a ton of loot on my suspension to put towards other things. Everyone on here is quick to bash NA shocks like Blues, Im not sure why...if you dont need adjustability, and you just want a nice ride with a decent drop, spending any more is just stupid.

My H&R's have not sagged that I can tell... maybe 1/8" but no more than that. They lowered my car 3" when I first put them on, brand new.

None of these springs usually end up more than 1/4 of an inch off. I have the OE sports and I'm not even an inch lower than stock. SSBP GSR down the block is about 1 7/8" front and 1 5/8" rear. I don't know firsthand about the race springs on a teg but my buddy's civic is about 2.0 front and back.
