new 1/8 mile times for I/E '96 gsr
it was a hot and humid summer night with a temperature of 84 degrees and a humidity of 66%, so i went to the track for some rice burnin and stunna reprezentin
1st run
60 ft: 2.3935
330 ft: 6.4908
1/8 ET: 9.8823
1/8 MPH: 72.59
2nd run
60 ft: 2.4246
330 ft: 6.4810
1/8 ET: 9.8487

3rd run
60 ft: 2.4353

i was launching at 4000 all 3 times and got a ton of wheelspin, better than bogging down i guess
my mods are: short-ram intake, high-flow cat, ITR catback, tannabe muffler

Try lowering the pressure to about 25psi in the front. You'll get a better contact patch to the ground, and most likely a slightly better launch. I pulled a 2.2 60' and ran 9.6@73 in the 1/8 with my GSR. Keep practicing, you'll get that down in no time.
is it even possible to get below 2.3 on stock tires with stock pressure? i've seriously tried almost every possible scenario and i get nothing but tons of spin or really bad bogging
those times will drop if you can get those 60's down. After that you'll be satisfied with your times. Let us know what happens next run. Just try lowering your tire pressure in the front. Also, try different launches to see what works the best.
