My RSX windows will not do the automatic roll up or roll down.....i checked the fuses and i don't know what is wrong....it rolls up and down....but not the AUTOmatic one push button! What would possibly be the reason or how can i get this fix?

You sure you are pressing the switch far enough? I don't know what the RSX window switches are like but when you press it down you should feel some resistance, and then if you press harder you will sorta feel a "click" and that will activate the auto down feature. maybe you just aren't pressing hard enough i don't know.

try turning your car off, then on, hold down your window switch until the window goes down completely. Then roll it up completely. Then just press the auto-down button and it should work.

let me know if this helps.

I bet $1000000 that you disconnected your battery right before the window stopped auto mode for awhile.

When the battery is disconnected, the auto function has to be reset. There is a specified procedure to reset it.

how did i know?! it happens everytime the battery is disconnected. i wonder if there's a capacitor that stores electricity for the auto feature that depletes when the battery is disconnected and then it takes several up and down rolls to recharge it? i'm just thinking out of my **** but what else could it be? the last time this happened, i just kept rolling up and down and it took about 15 times to get the auto feature back. now if only i could wire the sunroof into the auto feature.

like others stated this happens after you disconnect the battery. The fix is to press down and hold down for 5 secs after your window has gone all the down. Do the same thing for up and you should be gravy.
