i know how to open up the tail lights (same process as blackin out your headlights) but what paint do i use to smoke the bottom half of my tail lights?? and which side do i paint on... the actual tail lights or the lens??

you would get a transparent limo tint paint. testors makes it. itll run u about 4 bucks youll only need one can. find it at a store that carry's models. you would also tint the inside for the best results and stock looking

 

put it in a pipe and smoke it!!

 

I bought some window tint spray paint from a hobby shop taped the top half of and did many light coats untill it was where i wanted it??? https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=502589 look at the last pic thats how they turned out!

 

I did that to my side marker lights...I used that nite shades paint from http://www.summitracing.com , works pretty well - here's a pic

I painted them on the outside of the lens.

 

nite shades and some clear coat, and wax or buff them
