Hey I just installed my kit and I am running an open downpipe. The idle fluctuates a bunch like from 500-1500 when I start it and a little less when it is warm; could this be from no O2 hooked up or something else. The turbo boosts fine and pulls hard. I also JB welded my oil return, it started leaking slightly about 3 hours after I had oil in the pan. Is there a quick fix for this or do I have to take the dp and pan off again and have it welded? My fitting is brass, can that be welded to the steel pan? Thanks for anything that might help.

 

Just order a metal fitting and weld it to the pan. My Rev hard kit came with a metal fiting.

 

you may have a small vacuum leak from where you taped in for blow off valve or boost gauge. Usually this will result in a fluctuating idle. Was anything else change besides the install of the kit, Intake manifold, etc.?

 

Nothing else was changed besides the install.

 

Anybody else?
