ZC wiring to fit 88 dx crx?
just wondering if anybody sells a wire harness for the old DOHC jdm ZC (non-vtec) that will have all the plugs on it, but the clips and nessecary wiring done for the plugs at the strut braces. meaing it would already have the DPFI to MPFI corrected and all that good stuff. and then i would be using a 89 teg ecu.
thinking about completely stripping my wrecked crx, have a steering colum + wheel... and a tech mounted in it.... two bucket race seats, a full roll cage, lexan rear hatch, rear side windows... and a beater zc in it... make a decent weekend beater / autoXer

yea... but dont i have to do wiring for the MPFI cuz it is a DX. or would the Si harness cover that. its been awhile since i have been in with the crx stuff now that i drive a 94 hatch. if thats all i have to do to take care of the mpfi deal. then yea, i can add the normal wiring that comes with putting ZC into an Si. i would have to run an injector resistor box as well correct?
I've heard its much easier to convert the dx harness than to try and adapt the Si harness to work. Search for the dpfi to mpfi conversion, theres TONS on it and its not very hard as long as your competent with wiring.

This will not work because there are more wires in the si harness that will not match up right when pluged in by the strut towers. It is really not that hard to do I wired my 88 dx for a b20 motor with all obd 0 90 integera electronics. You should keep the dx harness and then modify it to make it a multi-port harness here is the web site i used. http://tech.hybridgarage.com/t...g.htm

i didnt ask for a regular zc harness.... i asked if anybody sold a harness that was made by a company that was for the zc, but just plugged straight into the dx plugs. i dont like wiring, but i'll do it if i have to. the car is sitting on the ground right now, front end still a little tweaked.... no struts, springs, rear lca's, interior, engine, calipers, rotors... it has been picked pretty clean.
just figured i could get a decent suspension setup, straighten the damage out, toss a few seats in it and have a beater.

well- sorry again for my confusion; here is a site that has teh wiring info, the only difference for a ZC would be extending wires for teh sensor.

HaSport sells a conversion harness that plugs right in, it's just not very cheap. There are also instructions out there that are pretty straight forward.
There really is no harness that just plugs right in for this conversion. Even the hasport harness has 4 extra wires that you have to pin into the ecu yourself. It is really not that hard to convert it though.
