Default Pic Request: Integras w/H&R Sport or Race springs

This isn't working in the Appearance forum, so I thought I would just post it here. Any help would be great.

Try doing a search, I know this question has come up a lot in the past. But here are some pics of H&R sports on my car. It looks way better in person than in pictures haha. I plan on getting rims (if i have the money) or just some lower profile tires and keep my stock rims (if i don't have the money). I think it would still look dope just on some lower profile tires.

H&R Sport on Koni shocks, front perch on highest setting, rear perch on lowest setting (to even it out).

Too freaking low to be only 276 lb/in.

Patrick94GSR, do you rub when you turn? And which ones ride better, the Sport or Race? Also, my friend wants one of these too. And he has street glo, so which will be better for him, so the tubes don't break? Don't flame, it's what he likes. Thanks.

What size wheels are u running. I think you should get sports. Race will lower it a lot and the street glows may break.

I'm running 16s, and he is running the stock 15s. So the Race will slam it too much for the street glo? Or can you run them, and you just have to be careful? Thanks.

1Tym, do you have any pics of your car?

In all honesty, I bet the Race springs would ride better, if you are on Koni shocks like me. The Race springs will probably lower the car about the same as mine, but they will be stiffer and won't be as prone to bottoming out like mine are. This is why I want custom rate GC's w/ stiffer springs than what I've got now.

And no I do not rub, ever, no matter how much or little the front wheels or turned. The back does not rub, either. The benefits of stock wheels and suspension that tilts the tires inward as the suspension compresses. I do not have any camber kits, either, which further helps keep it from rubbing (since a camber kit would push the top of the tire outward making it more likely to rub).

*edit* if you will note, my front drop is about the same as the red Integra posted at the top. I also had the higher fender gap in back when I first installed my shocks w/ the rear perches on the stock location. I put them down to the lowest position (15mm lower) to help even it out.

I'm not 100% sure if the street glos won't work with races but i would think they wouldn't or you would have to be very very careful. I'm just on sports and already i scrape at some places haha. And for some pics of my car...scroll up, i already posted some.

Hey Patrick, what do u do to not need a camber kit? Get alignments & rotate tires often?

exactly, got the toe set to exact factory specs and rotate tires every 3K-5K miles. After I lowered my car, I got another 25K miles out of the tires, at which point they were fully worn down past the wear bars all the way across the entire width of the tire. One little spot of steel belt was showing near the inside edge of one tire, which is what made me go ahead and replace them. I've had my Yok ES100's for probably 7K miles now, no problems at all.

BTW I'm running -2.3 deg. camber in front, and -1.9/-2.1 in back.

Well I will be on stock shocks for a while because I can't afford shocks right now. So now which one will ride better?

I would personally wait then. H&R sport and race springs lower quite a bit and it would just be best to wait and save up for shocks. Plus if you're not doing the install you'd save 1/2 the labor costs by doing it all at once.

Well I am going to do the install. But I am sick of the stock height. So why would waiting for shocks be better?

i ran my h&r sports on stock shocks, its not that bad actually. they blew out after a month, but even then it still felt pretty nice. if your doing the work yourself and dont mind the extra work, then i dont see why not.

If you're referring to the Koni Yellow shocks, they have grooves in the shock body that allow the spring perch to be placed at several different height settings, giving limited height adjustability.
