D16z6....Drag manifold or custom HX..power difference
I can make up my mind. How much more power does a drag manifold make than a ported HX manifold?
I am using a T3 turbo and also want it to be externally wastegated, if that makes a difference.
BTW I dont even know if you can have a wastegate flange on a HX mani

Any turbo manifold will flow better than a header made for a 70hp motor.
BTW, how much boost are you planning on running? If it's under 10psi, than an HX manifold will be sufficient. There are a few people running 200whp with the "homemade" turbo setup.

I will be running 14-18 psi.
built motor and t3 .60 turbo.
You answered my question, I just didnt know if they could handle the power or not

I'd say the main difference would be spool-up time, not as much top-end power with low boost applications...in a couple months I might have a Greddy manifold converted to a t3 for sale...
