easiest thing to do...would be to use the b16a rod (which you have to narrow the big end to fit the crank) and get a custom piston made to move the wrist pin up. the rod ratio will be decreased by the increased stroke...but its the cheapest way to go. another option is to make a custom rod combined with a custom piston. better r/r, but more expensive. i would reccomend using the itr crank/rods/pistons.....and installing them in a ls block. ls block is the same as b16 with the exception of the oil squirters and deck height..and you have to run a oil line to feed oil to the head to operate vtec. the ls block has the same deck height as the type r....so it will make the same hp numbers and run just like a type r.

thats the right way to aproach that. or you can just get a type r block. you will spend less money and have alot less down time. dont get too ahead of yourself, getting too wrapped up in a project might get you in over your head real fast. just my 2 cents.

i've got custom pistons if you are interested...heres the deal...i designed these a while back..and have them running..work great. they are arias. 85mm wrist pin moved up to fit in a b16a block, with ls crank and rods. super light 255 grams!. .708 wrist pin, so you must bush your rods from .826 to .708 (appx 80.00) .100 wall thick. 11.5 to 1 with b16a head w/ 43cc chamber (unmilled). 1/1.2/2.8 rings. custom buttons to support rings. super short skirt. .003 piston to wall clearance. the ultimate sleeper/streetrace piston. you are stuffing a 4mm overbored ls/1mm overbored b20....into a b16a block..2.0 b16a with a 1.54 r/r.....and no one will know!!!!.....i have guys making around 230 at the tire on pump gas with skunk stage 2's.....stock ecu.....through a muffler. will post pics if someone is serious. 650.00

if you r main concern is just to go sleeper then like lucky and others have said it requires work! you have enough info here to get your feet wet into this. sounds like a coll sleeper set-up which I have seen many times! but it always cool for the guys oh all you have is a b16 hehe! good luck bro keep us posted on more questions you may have!
