I've Run TEIN HAs and Zeal B6's and based on the additional research I have done I would pic the JIC FLT A2's long before the flexs.

I run the FLT-A2's on my race car. Great suspension, though I do not agree with the spring rates they originally came with.

Good point. That said why have Zeal B6's been ruled out? Endless USA has great service as well.

Not to mention, great ride characteristics on and off the street. Depends on your application though.

Definitely have to agree with that. Myt B6's with higher spring rates (Although as warren said about the JIC's not the best rate choices) than the TEIN HA's ride MUCH MUCH better. And the Zeal PBMs are a lot less harsh and noisy.

B6 not so much ruled out as I can get a good price for the flt-a2's or the FLEX's... so nobody is actualyl running the flexes eh? my friend has them on his civic and seems to like them but nobody on here eh?

The scenario is it's for a daily driven lightly tracked ITR. I originally wanted the tein HA's but those are no longer made. Then I was gonna get the B2's but the special is no longer on and for the current price of the B2's I can get the Flex, or spend an extra 100 and get the FLT-a2's There doesn't seem to be much in the full coil market for lightly tracked daily drivers sept the B2's IMO. Any other suggestions... I'd prefer a full set up so no konis on GC or HnR please. thanks.

Warren - what are the spring rates that the JIC's come with?

Chris - who was looking into FLT-A2's, now currently looking into getting KYB SSG's and some 12K/8K or 12K/10K springs...

I don't consider the HA's to even be in the same grouping with the others listed.

The FLEX, B6 and JIC's all have stroke independednt height adjustment. This allows for lowering without loss of shock stroke. I would definitely get the JIC's and then swap the springs front to rear.

defnitely worth the extra $ if you are going to spend that much money anyway.

Also, call around to IPS, R&D, and JDMSpec Perf for prices on B6's. I bet they can help you with a price.

Standard rates are 10/7. Zeal B6 is 10/6 or 12/8. I woudl get the 12/10 OR 10/8 unless you are comfortable with a 10/10 or 10/12 setup.

Warren will likely suggest the tailhappy side of things from what GK has said he and coery prefer to hang it out. I am not as comfortable with that even when on track or auto-x.

The HA's weren't at the same level... I was putting the HA's at the same level as like the B2's but they don't make the HA's anymore so my second choice was the B2's but at the best price I can find the B2's I can get a set of Flex or spend an extra 100 and get the JIC's both of which have independant strut adjustment.

What are teh spring rates for the JIC FLT-a2's... the FLEX was only 9/4 which seemed kinda low I know zeal for non circuit is 10/6

Mine came with 14k/12k. I replaced the rears with 18k at first, but that still wasn't enough. I'm on 20k rears now.

Do they offer something a little lower than 14/12? 18/20 would probably break my spine on the street

I believe 10/7 is a more standard rate set for the JIC. Warren 20k is just insane! That is 1117 lb/in for thos wondering!!

Thanks Trey.

I'm not comfortable with 10/10 or 10/12 or any rear bias setup. Makes me want to barf. From what I've read and those I've talked to, understeer can be dialed in IF desired even with 12/10, 12/8 or similar setup ratios.

Anyhoo sounds like JIC's are getting the nod over the Flex.

Wow. 14K/20K. And Wai has 20K/16K. I bet those two cars are about polar opposites of each other with those spring rates....

Does anyone even have the flex?... or any other suggestions I'm not sure if I really need a set up as good as the FLT-a2's the flex's seem very streetable form my friends comments too.. are the flt-a2 also?... but there aren't much middle ground setups I can thinks of, any suggestions?
