Default Low lead 100 octane av gas....

A curious thing has happenend:

The aviation industry has made an interesting move to down rating there feul to 100 (from 113 if memory serves) and have introduced what is termed as 'low lead'.

My question is that while before we could run 113 octane av gas (Boy was that fun!), I am hesitant about putting a 'leaded' gas in my car.

Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this?

Lead will foul the catylitic converter. Eventualy making it a nice cork for your exhaust system.
