Just a few questions..

Did you do anything to your bottom end? I'm definately not flaming, but i want to lsvtec my car, and i dont want to do anything special to the bottom end, AND i want the bitch to last, lol.

What color are those slipsteams in the front?

Can you try and post a picture of your gutted rear interior!

btw, nice car, reminds me alot of my car, minus the b16 head

Yeah... not much more I want to do to the exterior other than jdm side molidings, 1 piece headlights, and add rear slipstreams.

The motor pulls damn strong... I had too much fun with it for a lil and that's why my old 6puck wore out, but chirping into 3rd and pulling with the S1 cable tranny felt good. I'm pretty satisfied considering the head has stock GSR cams, although on full crower vavletrain. Soon as I get sk2 stg 1 cams and VAFC tuned, I believe the car will be pretty decent on the street with the simple style I like

The block work consist of hot tank, bored .25 over for ITR oversizd pistons, micropolished crank journals, resized rods notched for gsr rod bearings, fully balanced bottom end rotating assembly, gsr oil and ater pumps, new honda seals, bearings, and rings. The block spins clean to 8400, but no need to even go that high yet on gizzer cams.

Although I'm not a big fan of the LS/V Hybrid, it looks pretty dam nice. Only thing I have to admit never seeing b4 is carbon fiber hood and you dont have clear corners not a big deal though, sound like you have most of the performance mods you need and you'll be doing the exterior **** soon. post more pics when you do. looks good

Hey, saw your car on g2ic, but it's down right now. Nice setup man, who did the install for you. I did the same thing a month ago and I have never regretted it. My bottom end is not done yet, hopefully soon though since my motor is blowing lots of blue

How do you like your S1? I'm afraid of its 5th gear being too short, I'm opting for the Ls 5th instead... since I do lots of highway driving.

Are you running girdles at all? Did you shotpeened your rods? How sure are you that the motor will be good til 8400RPM? Would you mind clarifying on those since I'm still debating.... TIA

PS. Very nice car BTW, always liked the Captiva Blue :D

Thanks man... Well for the S1 tranny, i had a LS 5th gear installed... i like it...

No girdle, stock rods, stock bolts... but resized rods, renotched for gsr bearings, fully balanced bottom end rotating assembly... I've spun it to 8400 quite a bit and really pushed it 8400,8000, 7800 on the street after long driving plenty of times to test it... motor runs quiet and smooth... love this thing...oil levels are good, no leaks... I researched a lot for the truths behind the ls/vtec.. one person to note... ie) jeff at IB respectable builder... and you'll find stock rods and bolts to be fine to 8500 if you do everything correctly.... balance, balance, balance... everything down there...
