Is the D16a6 thermoswitch the same as the thermoswitches on the B series motors? For instance, could I use the Spoon switch on my a6? Thanks.

I did a search and couldn't find squat. Maybe I'll need to get the Honda part numbers to see what's up.

 

No I'm almost 98% sure that the thermostate housing is a different size.
anyone correct me if i'm worng please.

 

d16a6 = 37760-PM3-003
b16a2 = 37760-P00-003


most likely the connector on the switch is going to be different on the B series one.

 

the connectors are the same, but the side that threads into the block is larger on B-series....so no they wont work


PS- i found out the hard way after ordering one for a D16 for my girls car and they gave me one for a B16
