Default taking out the window?

Alright, some @##$$@# thiefs stole my CD player and had to break my window in the process How do I take it out? My manual says there should be 2 little holes behind the door panel (which I can only get to 1)... it shows a different picture than mine, I'm guessing because of the door mounted seatbelts vs the other ones. My car is a 90 hatch, if anyone can please explain - help me out! NO AC SUCKS

Take the door panl off, move the thing up and down and there should be certain holes on the door panel you can get through to get the 2 bolts off, the bolts hold 2 white clips on the bottom rail. I know how it is, had to do a window for a freind of mine whose CRX got broken into for a Jenson CD player.

Can't you just take the whole door panel apart? If the window is broke it should come out in pieces anyway.

screws hold on the window, steel frame is blocking me from getting to the window

sorry: Didn't mention that I'm trying to put a new one in, this isn't for some weight reduction purpose

you need to remove the seatbelt assembly; there are 2 10mm bolts that hold the window in track- one near the speaker & the other near the door handle. My hatch was broken into almost 2 months ago so I got a window from teh JY & my track is apparently F#cked b/c teh window will not stay on track nor close all of the way. I wish you better luck then I have had.
