Default What is so bad about pressure drop?

Hey guys I just got my intercooler in. I had tested it out and it works really well but The only concern I have is that the pressure drop is quite noticable. Im not sure exactly how many pounds dropped but I was curious to know whats so bad about pressure drops? Yes you could jack up the boost to retrieve the lost in pressure but of course you're going to be blowing hotter air. But wouldnt this be ok if the intercooler does a good job of keeping temps down. TIA for any help guys.

i mean ex. how much did you loose? from what IC to what IC. maybe you have a boost leak. unless you went from a tiny side mount, to the biggest Ic made, i dont think you should loose that much
