my two rear tokico blues shocks are blown and I'm trying to get them warrantied. On their website, they make it such a hassle to waranty the product... something about.. sending it to them.. and within 2 months they'll send one back out to me under their discretion.. or watever. I called them, nobody picked up. I brought it up to my shop, and they said they'll do it, but they dont know how tokico will handle it and asks me to pay for shipping back and forth.. !!!
Just curious.. has anybody got thier shocks warrantied b4.. and if so, how did you go about doing it.. thanks

Call Joey Cabrera up. He's Sales Coordinator High Performance division. He can most likely answer your questions.

Most likely you will provide a credit card number and ship the shock out to them. If they find that the shock was blown to user instal error, rather than product defect. You will be charged for another shock.
I believe they'll pay the shipping back to you, b/c it's their fault the product went bad.

I haven't had any warranty claims with Tokico but do with Koni. Koni's process is pretty painless. They send you a set to replace your damaged ones. Send your old ones back and you're done. Hope Tokico is as easy.

</TD></TR></TABLE>Called tokico today about replacing my tokigo illuminas and was told by Joey to return them to the place that I bought them from and they should handle it from there, even though tokico is local he said do that anyway. WTH? I will keep u guys posted. Sounds like an awful lot of trouble to go through for a company that is local (compton).
