H22 Final Drive in a F22 Tranny
theres alot of rumors about it that its not possible
ive never heard of anyone successfully doing it or even trying it
its an accord mystery

i would like to know this as well, i NEED shorter gears on my poor accord.
BTW: Morgan, i'll let you be the ginea pig!
if it works, let me know!

oh well then I guess i should tell you that we did it, but my tranny goofed in the middle of the race
it didn't grind, it just stopped going into 3 or 4th gear, then when I got it off track it would go into every gear but 4th and now the sychros are screwed
why was there a rumor that it was not possible?

basically for what you said lol
way back when i was on superhonda (4+ years) there was a guy who did this and had problems like you did, with shift forks, syncro's, it seemed to never work right after he swapped it in
i guess its always had the rumor that its not possible, but more specifically the rumor should be its not possible without bugs popping up
if you get it to work flawlessly then you will be the first ive heard of, and ive been on Honda message boards for 5 years

what are you going to do now morgan? get an H22 or H23 tranny would be the best since they have shorter gearings that will help you a lil on the track to spread the power more evenly.
What do you have in mind?
BTW: i heard about your first race, it sucks, but it's ok, there is always going to be a first time for everything, and it turns out your first race was also your first break down, so keep your head up, the next races will be even better!!
good luck

yeah he has an adapter. he dropped a load on custom gears for D series so he didnt want to blow a lot of money on cuswtomer F series gearing....i know he is sponsored,b ut not enough to attend all national events...so i guess it was cheaper to adapt it and go from there.
