My clutch master cylinder leaks and i cant smell the fluid at all, but you can tell by looking by your clutch pedal and if its leaking your carpet would be stained with fluid. It has pretty much destroyed my floor mat :/ Anyways check all your clutch lines and you need to bleed the clutch fluid too b/c now there is air in the line, that is why your clutch still does not work. Get a Haynes manual if u dont know how.

Is it your clutch that isn't working or your brakes that aren't working? It sounds like you need to fill the clutch slave cylinder.

its right on the front of the tranny, just infront of the radiator, its black and should have a bleed hole on it. Your system needs to be bled and that should help your problem, if not........

Well unless he was taking out clutch lines or sumthin, the air had to get in there somehow. Probably a big leak somewhere if it drained all in one night.

A similar thing happened to me about a year, or so, ago. I bled the system and added more fluid and never had a problem since.... weird, but true.... I thought that I had a leak too, but wanted to see if it would lose pressure again and it never did.
