Well even though I had a hard time understnding yes all Honda's are Metric. But if your going to buy a tool kit why wouldnt you buy one wiht both metric and standard?
Sometimes, I run across an Imperial bolt or nut on my car, so as Vince said, it's a good idea to have both. I do believe all the OEM bolts are metric, but that doesn't mean that you only have OEM bolts on your car. Any mechanic, if he lost a bolt (and it happens) will just throw another one on there, and one he throws on is more likely than not going to be Imperial.
usually aftermarket stuff you buy will come with standard bolts also. my strutbars and coilovers all use standard tools.

Maybe so- but the only way to get them to thread in (without ruining the threads) is to use another metric bolt. The threads on metric bolts and nuts are metric as well as the heads. The only two bolts that will interchange are a metric M5-1.25 and SAE 10-32. Other than that you're going to ruin threads.
As for a "tool set" all you need to disassemble an entire Civic is a 6mm-14mm 1/4" drive socket set, 8-17mm open end/boxed end wrench set (two of each) 8mm-19mm 3/8" drive socket set, a 1/2" breaker bar with 32mm socket for the axle nuts, a set of metric allen wrenches, and a couple of screwdrivers. You can buy all of this for less than $100.00 at Sears (Craftsman). I don't recommend anything less expensive than Craftsman, but you could always splurge on a Snap-On 3/8" ratchet with 12" handle ($95.00), a deep-well 1/4" drive 10mm socket, and one of those 6-inch long 1/4" drive extension bars with the plastic handle molded onto it comes in handy too.
A few other little things to keep in mind- most hose clamps (that we all use) are 1/4", 8mm, or 10mm, so having a 1/4" socket on hand doesn't hurt. Most metric sockets will fit SAE bolts, i.e. 8mm = 5/16", 11mm = 7/16, 13mm = 1/2", 14mm = 9/16", 15mm = 19/32, 19mm = 3/4" (wheel nuts)....
And finally- the most popular bolt/nut sizes on Hondas are 10mm, 12mm, and 14mm.
