Default LS/VTEC or LS/TURBO

hey, i want to eaither make my 91 ls a vtec by throwing a vtec head or is it more complicated then just that? or throw on a turbo.. what would be the best way to do it? and can the ls/vtec be done and be worth the money

Just throwing the VTEC head on there wont cut it. You have to change the pistons and cams. Otherwise you'll still be running the shitty compression the LS block has. You wont be able to take advantage of VTEC.

I say just buy a Rev Hard Stage 2C and call it a day.

i 2nd that on the rev hard turbo kit. its a good kit. but they have the rev hard 4 series coming out soon. check it out. and ls/vtec's are alot of trouble stay way away from them.

Yeah, I was just asuming a kit on stock internals.

IMO, I'd slap a Turbonetics Y2k on there if I could. lol

in what price range would that cost to get the series 2 and maybe the series 4?

u cna check the kit out there. depending on what u have it ranges from about 2 grand to 3 grand. and the stage 4 kit hasnt come out yet so idk the price

no turbonetics. precision baby. LS/VTEC has basically been proven a nightmare.
