Default Need Help on Where to find a bumper extension for a jdm conversion

Need some help here guys where i can find a bumper extension for the jdm conversion, the extension is the part where the dc2 grill clips on to and sits on top of the bumper reinforcement. anyone know where i can find one used or new. my bumper is on and looks ok.. but need to get that part to make it complete and no one is willing to sell it separately. I'd be willing to trade it for a brand new core suppport (part where your headlight mounts on to). A lil help would greatly b appreciated.

thanks

Yep, Optauto is the only place I know of to buy it separately. Alternatively, you could do a search for modifying the USDM support to fit inside the JDM bumper, that's way safer...although not what I did...

Last I checked a month ago OptAuto was sold out on those... I ended up buying from a local guy. You might try searching some local importers in your area. It's really amazing what some of those importers receive in their shipping crates. From what they explained to me they pay by the container and so it's to their advantage to cram as much crap as possible in there.

If that doesn't work, you can try, ThePartsTrader.com . Sometimes I've seen random JDM conversion parts on there. Or maybe even Team-Integra.net, SuperHonda.com, or Ebay.

If I hadn't found my bumper reinforcement from a local person, I was just going to bite the bullet and buy a new one from Honda of Japan (through a local shop).

Best of luck.
