I bought the S2000 because it was a convertable..buying a hardtop would actually kinda ruin it in my eyes....

i love the way the s2k looks like with the ht. im going to buy one for the fall/winter seasons. its like having two different cars in one.

I used to think the OEM top was worth getting for my S2K until I saw the Mugen F/G and C/F tops in person.

Yeah one that looks good and one that looks like sh*t. I'm sorry but IMO the OEM HT ruins the beautiful lines of the S2. The back window has to much of a vertical drop. Makes it look like a pick up truck style back window, too steep. If anything, I would go with the Mugen HT. Much more smooth and better looking from the side. Resembles the Integra/RSX style back window.

I live in central Texas...having a hardtop would be like having a set of snow skis (I'd never use it), but I do love the look of the OEM hardtop.

it's worth it if you want to reduce the noise inside the cabin, improve aerodynamics, and add some security so if a thug wants to slash your top, it'll require more trouble for them to get what they want with a hard-top. Oh, they look good too.
