Default what and how to swap a sohc v-tec into a crx

i need to know what i need to do in order to get this swap to work. like wiring and etc...i need to know asap..thanx in advance

The motor will bolt in if you use your cable tranny. As for wiring, you have a few choices. You could use a rpm activated switch to activate VTEC, convert to OBD1 using an OBD0 to OBD1 wiring conversion harness, or use your existing harness and modify it to use a PR3 ecu. swaping a SOHC VTEC into ur car

u can use ur stock following parts:
tranny
motor mounts,
shift linkage
exhaustmanifold(not recomended)
engine harness,
axles


BTW its VTEC not v-tec

but u need to do a MPFI conversion if ur car isnt a Si (do a search on DPFI to MPFI)
as for ecu, u can either go OBD1 conversion,
or u can use a OBDO electronics with some sort of vtec controller.... or u can get a Zdyne....

so ur saying..it will bolt right in if i use my cable tranny...where can i find an rpm activated switch...yea..my crx is an si so i dont have to worry about doing the MPFI conversion rite?...

yes u need no wiring
as for the tranny, yes use that one its the best bet for that engine...
as far as vtec contolers...
u got a few options....
Apex-i VAFC
Fields SFC-VTEC
MSD RPM switch (summit sells it for like 90 total)
or Zdyne
