Default its too hot to NOT have AC help!

i give up its too damn hot i need ac. i have a 00 hatch CX and gettin the whole ac from a 96 or 98 hatch DX(does it matter what year?), for FREE (anyone want cheap DX parts?)
My main question is can i install his ac onto my car?

now since i don't kno crap about ac systems, i was wondering if you guys can enlighten me on the basics and main parts of an air conditioning system.
1. from searches i've found these parts - condensor(does this part look like the radiator), compressor(does this go on the engine with ac belt), evaporator(does this look like a giant can), AC lines. are there anything else i need to pull?

and last question since my car didn't come with ac from the factory will it idle normally when i put the ac on or will i need some thing to do that? thanks guys sorry if i'm a traitor to all the no power anything/less weight better peeps

It can't remain that hot for long, I'm in Michigan and there is some "cold front" from canada coming in pushing temps to low 80s high 70s. I never use AC even when its mid 90s. Honda A/C is too weak to even be useful imho.

It will fit just fine.

Hparts.com used to have an Acrobat file with installation instructors for Civic A/C kits. I believe it's about 8 pages, takes about 4 hours, and doesn't look all that difficult.

Helms manual will also be useful.

:/ It's 70 here today, I'm just quoting my weather man . I guess I just have a high tolerance of heat because 90s for a day or two doesn't bother me that much.
