help: Engine missfire in cylinder 1 and 2 (engine check codes thrown)
I just came back from Japan, and I found my car started up started, like it was having trouble cranking up, but after it was fine. The engine check light came on and I checked it, it happened to be 71 and 72 (first and second cylinder missfire or a random misfire a condition is present that is creating a cylinder missfire).. I have a kill switch installed to my fuel pump, and I told my friend to start up the car while I was gone.. He told me that one time he accidentally forgot the switch was on, and he was trying to start it up with no fuel going into the cylinders.. Is this something I should worry about, or is the ecu just shooting the code because their wasn't enough fuel pumping when I started up the car when I came back? I drove to town, and the car runs fine, no noises or lagging in the motor (no I didn't rip it). Please leave some feedback, thanks..
