Default CHeck engine

My light when i start my car blinks every second or so when my car runs, this just started late tonight. It was fine all day, but when i started it up that car had a lot less power, it also has a rough idle now? What should I check

If your car is a '96-'00, take it to Autozone and have them pull the code(s) for you. If your car is a '92-'95, check out this link and do what it says to pull the code(s):

FYI autozone (or any other auto store) doesn't pull codes anymore.

YES, it does matter. Get the correct NGK plugs that Honda recommends. Don't get Autolites, Champion, or Bosch; they are junk.

hellz yeah! its probably some new BS CA law that they cant do it, kind of like BAR is a bunch of crap! In VA we can pull our own codes OR have advance auto, auto zone etc do it lol... and we can convert from obd2 to obd1 and not get in trouble for it! haha

well as long as they'll work enough to where you can decipher if that was your problem or not, and then when those crap out on you here soon you can save some cash and get some good ones...im running Denso Irridium's in mine but theyre like 75 for 4 lol, ive fouled a lot of the "unfoulable" NGK's so im not a fan.

Did you ever get your issue resolved? Fyi, I bought some oem spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. I swapped out my plugs first, reset the ecu and that fixed it for me. Drove my car around for a good 30 min and no CEL. My idle issue went away and car drove great! However I will continue to go ahead and replaced my wires, cap and rotors.
