ZC Turbo PROBLEM PLEASE HELP!!!!!
I put a GREDDY 92-95 civic turbo kit on my ZC. I have a Rising-Rate Regulator 4 fuel. I have my timing retarded 2 degrees. Everytime I pop the clutch and floor the gas it boggs 4 a few seconds almost like it going 2 cut out but then it picks up. It also boggs in every gear at a low rpm. It manly does this when I am giving it gas. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
-What FMU are you using?
-What boost level are you running?
-Do you have an exhaust temp gauge or A/F gauge or something to monitor the fuel with?
When I first put mine together, it was leaning out really bad because the fuel pump couldn't keep up with the pressure needed. I'm sure you already know that an FMU setup is far from ideal. You can make it work, but you may need a stronger pump.
It almost sounds like an ignition problem that you're having. Without more details, its tough to tell.

It is the Vortex rising rate regulator. I have a a/f ratio gauge it is staying in rich. I have tried to turn it down thinking it was getting too much fuel but it just did the same thing and then it was leaning out during boost so I turned it back up. I have turned my timing back to normal thinking it was retarded too much that didn't help either. I am running 5 1/2 pounds of boost stock 4 this kit.If u have any ideas I would greatly apprecaite it.
For the bogging have you checked/upgraded your spark plugs, They might be fouling due to the extra fuel. You might just be lacking the spark. Just an idea..

Have you checked the timing with a gun? That really doesn't sound like it to me, but I'm trying to think of anything.
What are the gauges doing when it bogs? Are you sure you're not just feeling the lag of the turbo? If I stand on it at really low RPM, it sort of takes a second to get its **** together and get going... then it comes on strong. I wish I could help you out, but its so difficult to tell without being in the car.
It sounds like you have an adjustable FMU???? Do you know what ratio it is set at? You said the plugs are brownish, without seeing them, that could mean a few different things depending on color. Find a chart online to compare them and see what you can figure out.

close the gap on your plugs by 5 thousandths (0.005") It's possible the boost is blowing the spark out. I have seen this happen with a B16A-t on the dyno, and with my D15B2-t on the street.
also, buy a Holley 190 lph inline fuel pump and install it under the hood to raise pressure right before the fuel rail. they cost ~150.00 at Advance Auto and have 3/8" inlet/outlet
