I've got a 97 civic ex coupe, greddy turbocharged. I've never raced at a drag strip before, and I'm wondering if you have any tips for me.
What should I remove? Seats, panels, spare?
What effect will race gas have on the turbo? Should I even bother with it? I plan on running open downpipe to help the turbo spool.
What tire pressure should I run (stock Yokohama Avid H4's, 195/60/14
)?
What type of launch is best for my setup (ACT clutch, B&M short shifter)?
Is there anything else I should know before going to the track? I'll have my buddies helmet with me. *trying to think of other questions* Alright well throw out some tips for a n00b
TIA

if you are running stock 5.5lbs of boost, you can leave the helmet at home. and i would take out everything that is easy to take out. the rear seat really does not weigh that much.
id put the tire pressure to about 20 psi
youll have to just practice your launch till you get comfortable with it.
there was a gutted cx hatch with a sohc y8 greddy turbo running mid 13's on 10lbs of boost with it creeping as high as 13lbs. he had stock clutch and internals, but his car is about 400 lbs or so lighter than yours.
