i weighed my 95 civic cx today and it weighed in at 1980lbs . it has a d16z6 swap in it, crappy intake, stock exhaust manifold and strait pipe and its interior is completely gutted and it rolls on hx wheels. anyone else weigthed there eg's? this seemed really light for what it is.

 

I belive they weight 2108 stock. And yours is gutted.

 

My stripped to the bone DX (2178) with a Z6 on VX wheels weighed 1867 on corner weight scales. Had the passenger seat in it and a half tank of gas.


It weighs close to 1800 on race day.

what kind of racing do you do? i would gut mine out even more but im planning on doing echc in the near future so i have to stay above 2305 w/ driver so i gotta add some weight

btw, i believe they weigh alot more than 2108 stock?????

 

I belive curb weight is 2108 I'm going from a few websites giving specific specs about this car. They were right about my 00 si (2612). Maybe you are thinking a different model but all the hatches are still under 2400. Si being the tank at 2390. If I am wrong then please let me know.
