Well its a diffuser so I'm assuming for air flow, aerodynamic purposes.

Are those pistons warped?

 

no those pistons are perfect up top. just a bad pic, and it just looks like that from that angle and the way they burned fuel .

as far as the holes thats a diffuser, when hitting high speeds your rear bumper acts like a parachute basically with all the air forced in there and trapped, so i cut holes to let that air thru some people claim 3/10's from this mod, we'll see though.I plan on running in the 10's soon , so anything helps.
i was gonna put STR diffuser on , but im not one down with the bling, nor can i see myself spending $100+ on some flashy *** billet alum piece when my car is to look sleeper and eveil as possible.
also just ripped out the abs, and srs, so that **** will be for sale soon if anyone is interested. this thing lost a **** load of weight lately. im trying to get it under 2400 lbs if possible.

how many 10 sec ricers you know of ? i think it looks pertty good though. ill roll the car out of the garage this week and get some pics with it in daylight, these pics are kinda hard to see i snapped em off last night.

Im hoping to get my car under 2600lbs, its gonna be hard for me, with 6pt cage, and liquid to air intercooler stuff..

Silly question... and take no offense to it... but if you're building a 10 sec drag racer Honda, why not start off w/ something cheaper and lighter then a nice '00 or '01 Type R?
And I guess I could ask you the same about the motor, since you're basically rebuilding it, why not start w/ something cheaper/older (since you're rebuilding almost all of it) than a B18C5?

tats kinda the theme i was going for
and to the qeation why not go with something cheaper? becuase i didnt need to , i feel comfortable enuff fnancially to do this project and i wanted to be different, why not have the best of the best? type R with that much HP and that fast, gets instant attention and media coverage. Trust me on this one. i knows a few thngs

Thanks for the compliments guys, The maxren should be Ac compatible, but i took my ac out a long time ago . so i wouldnt know from experience, but the Log style manifolds are ac compatible from all that i saw.
