how are you going to mount your window back there? are you using a lexan piece or just the stock window?

Could you post some pics of it before and after you install it? That would really help me out as well.
Thanks

sparco usa makes those spring clip things. ive seen people take out the struts to hold up the window and use that hole to fasten the spring clips to. than mount the other part of it on the body.

Hmm i'll have to look into that but for now im just gonna use some bungy cords to hold it down.I got it mounted and it doesnt fit like stock but i made it look good.I had to re-drill the holes because of that.Sorry i didnt get any pictures. Thanks everyone.

I'll try to get some pics up.But i must say it was easier since it had holes from the old owner.I did have to drill the wholes wider so the hatch would be side to side, that way i can make sure its not to far on one side.

I tossed the factory hinges and used dzus fasteners (5) to hold it in place, and fabbed some spacers so the gap between the tailgate and body were even all the way around.

To hold the tailgate closed i just used a strap and tightend it down.I'm happy with the results and next year im gonna go fiberglass and front with lexan.
