Default Easy to replace rear hatch window? EG hatch

My brother called me and asked me if i could put a new window in for him because his car was broken into. so i was just curious if it isa easy task to put the new window in. or should i tell him to have a professional do it?

its pretty easy... thats with the understanding that you know what a socket wrench is..

haha

yeah theres a couple nuts for the spoiler then a couple for the hatch itself and thats it. oh and unplug the center brake light.

sweet. ive never really looked at EG's rear windows so it sounds like it wont be too bad of a task.. thanks guys

oh and when you screw/unscrew the struts that hold the window up be careful cause they can get stripped pretty easily.

the EG hatch rear window is really easy to replace. It takes three of four very common tools if I remember right.
the first time I did it, it took 30 minutes. Second time it took me 15 minutes in sub zero degree weather in a parkinglot.
I HATE theves.

Can I please ask where you guys got the windows I just shattered mine today and can’t find one anywhere for my 92 hatchback
