Default Rims for da rex.

Im about to get rims for my rex but i am havin an issue with tha size. I wanna get either 18's are 17's but I dont know if 18's can fit on a crx. Also if 18's can fit, will it hurt the performance of the car?

I have 17's & my advice= DON'T DO IT!!!! get 16's at the largest, but IMO I think that 15's are the best. If you plan on lowering your car DO NOT get bigger than 16's. Yes, you will notice that you accelerate a little slower than before, and you'll probably feel the extra weight of the wheels in accelration & the steering feel. Just my $.02

Do you have 5 lug? If you are looking for Performance wheels then get 15's. If you are a sho stunna then get 17's. Honestly 18's would be a pain in the ***.

i think he means 4th gen civic (ie 2nd gen crx).
just get yourself a set of GSR or SI rims (they are 15''s).
**** 17''s I have some and never even put them on my car.

who gives a **** its a rex, crx, crix, **** box, roller skate ect ect

personaly i have see 18's on a crx but they are way to big .. i currently have 17's on mine and like them because even though they are 17's they still look like 16's but i cant lower it anymore then i have it wich is why they are for sale

16's are a good start then upgrade later down the road if your not happy, tires are cheeper and wheels are cheeper

Does it really make you that angry?

I'll type CRX, but it's easier to type "rex" cause you don't have to hold the shift button to make it look right. Also, when speaking, saying "rex" is 2x shorter than saying "See Arr Ecks".

Oh, but I do agree with you saying that a CRX on 18's would look goofy as all hell.

I think I'm gonna put some "naws" on my "rex".
Seriously though, heres a pic of the maglites, there really cheap at wheelmax.com $99 each for the 15"x7" and $150 for 17x7".

Those wheels are hideous mabey if you paid me $100 per wheel I might sport them. I despise maglites those wheels are the worst.....YUK. Anything over 16" is TOO BIG. I will never use anything over a 15" wheel. My moto us run the smallest wheel that will clear your brakes. 15" Kosei K1s on my CRX and 14" HX wheels on My Civic Hatch. 13.5lbs and 11.9lbs respectfully. I had 17's once they rode like ***, all the ricers around here thought I was an idiot when I got rid of them. I don't really care what they say.

personally, i wouldnt really want anything over a 15. I got 14's on my hatch, and even tho they arent much bigger than stock, they look a hell of a lot cleaner, and they're lighter
gotta love hx wheels

Thanks for the help guys. I have made the desision to get light weight 16's cause they perform good and dont look to little. Also does anybody know a good sight to learn about tires. I was looking at yokohamas(which i heard were one of da best) and the tire specs were talkin about ratings, sizes and numbers that I couldnt understand. Thanks again
