Default Rubbing sound ?

I noticed today a little rubbing sound when I'm driving. I thought it could be the brakes but when I brake it does not get louder. I lowered my car about 2 inches yesterday, and I'm riding on 00 si rims. So I was wondering, does it sound like a rubbing issue ? And if anyone has 00 si rims on there crx and lowered there car, did you have problems with it rubbing ?

is it a tinny rubbing sound? if it is its most likely the dust shields on the back of the rotors rubbing on the rotors, usually the bottom half is what bends in, just go ahead stick your hand back there and pull it out a little then drive around and find out

Well it sounds like its coming from the back tires. And they have no dust shields on there. And I don't think I have dust shields in the front. I was pushing the rear control arm down and stepping on the brake drum to make it go done. But if it was the back brakes, it would get louder when braking. And yes, the rubbing is not loud at all. The only time you can hear it is if your next to a curb and here the echo.

Is it constant rubbing or does it stop and come back?? And also just because you push on your brakes and it doesnt get louder doesnt mean that it isnt your brakes...Are your rear drums adjusted correctly?? I remember that you posted a few days ago about one of the drum springs did you get it all back together ok?

Well that was actually on my girlfriends car. My drum brakes were fine before all this, but I was thinking maybe I pushed on it to hard. I went for a drive tonight and the windows were up and I heard no rubbing at all. So maybe it had something to do with not driving the car for 2 days. I really don't know.
