i read a post LAST NIGHT ABOUT HOW TO DO IT AND IT LOOKED GOOD. i WANT TO KNOW WHAT PART TO PAINT NO MY 91 CIVIC LIGHTS. iTS A REFLECTIVE SO SHOULD I DP THE BACK OR THE SIDES? i KNOW THAT EATHER WAY IT WILL SHADE THE LENS BUT I DONT WANT TO loose alot of light or not be albe to aim them anymore. Anyone done this??
You dont paint the back part. You paint any part that does not reflect the light onto the road. The sides and the edges are fine. If done right you shouldnt lose any light output since you dont paint the part that directs the light. I havent seen it done on a 91 though.
Post some pics when you're done.

it's called black housing, you paint the housing with what ever color but leave the freak'in reflector alone, it looks nasty with painted reflector

ok this all makes since exept i got the lights opened up and it all one big reflector. (no housing) the inside is 100% reflector. What i want to know is if i paint the back of the reflector part behind the light and leave the sides that reflect the light onto the road will it be ok still
