there is no such thing as clear primer....

this sounds like it could come out ugly.

i tinted mines yellow and it came out nice got it from lamin-x.com ive tried krylon glass paint but you have to be very careful and get an even coat if not one will be darker or lighter than the others..but with tints if it messes up from rocks u can always peel it off and re tint it again

The only down fall about that vinlyl ****, is that if you go over eighty you lose them..

the krylon paint is the best. i painted mine 2 years ago and they are still minty

Vans is the best. It's got a rubbery texture to it so should not chip.

krylon paint is very good at that kind of deal. i've also used it before and it still looks great after years.
