For some un-godly reason they're right....

I had bosch in my old car and it ran 20x's better with them then the ngk's but with my honda it's dead opposite... ngk's all the way.

ngk wires are fine as are the more reputable aftermarket ones...

BKR6E-11 is what I have in my B16. I also have the NGK blue wires.

The plugs go for about $7 at your local parts store.

What engine is in your car?

If it's a SOHC then NGK ZFR5F-11 is what Honda puts in them.

I have to agree, don't know why, but NGKs are just smoother than Bosch Platinums in Civics. Need to switch back.

Also stock wires from Honda are black Sumitomo wires.

NGKs are fine too, but they are not stock like many people say they are.

I just looked in the Honda Parts Reference guide and the 1999-2000 EX calls for the NGK ZFR5F-11 plugs as I mentioned above.

Honda also lists an alternate Denso Plug in the KJ20CR-L11 if you cannot find NGK.
