Never post here but need some opinions for selling my ITR?
Ok so i have a 2000 py itr. The chassis has 50k and the fully rebuilt b18c-r has 0 miles and thats how the car will be sold...not even broke in, 0 miles...as far as mods go it has dc jdm 4-1 header iceman intake and an apexi n1 catback. Well the car isnt in perfect condition. it has some scrathes here n there...very minor ones..it has a carbon fiber hood also..Now i really dont know what price to ask seeing as i have this situation..Any respone with serious opinions will be highly appriciated. Thanks for anything.
why was it rebuilt?
where was it rebuilt.
0 miles on it? what warranty do i get on the motor? if the build quality is crap, will you be taking care of any outstanding issues with the place where you had this motor rebuilt?
lots of questions potential buyers will ask (no brainer)

Ok well i have a personal mechanic...by the way i stay in MIAMI.....well my mechanic used to build and race oldschool Porche's to say the least he had a team spend 30 million in one year to try and catch him and couldnt...he isnt known because he only does work for family or close friends...the motor will be IMMACULATE thats for sure..he dosent do anything the best work But its only my work that you can take. but i can guarantee he is better then just about anyone who works on motors. Well i spun a rod bearing and he is just going to rebuild the entire motor and imma get rid of it. there is no warranty, i bought the car with a highly modded motor and got rid of it. so there was no warranty

Why would a car with 50,000 miles need a its engine rebuilt? thats why.

you'll probably find some little kid who'll pay you top dollar for a 0 mile motor.
but facts are that a 0 mile motor is not proven unless you can provide receipts, hook up the potential buyer with the shop/builder or if it'd done and vouched for by a reputable shop/builder.
i've seen rebuilds smoke, ping, grind, any noise you can think of due to faulty workmanship. the fact that your guy builds porsche motors really has no value here.
but again, it's all about finding a sucker.
realistically i'd price it around 15-17k if you don't break in the motor.

Well whomever even wants to take a look at the car can go and talk to the builder and realize that he is a man of much knowledge and extremly high potential...that is absolutly no problem..nore do i have any problem taking anyone to see and talk to hima bout the car n motor do to the fact i know it will be better then a brand new motor out of the box....like i said if just my word but whomever has any interest can let me know whatever it may be and we can go from there...very true though. but the buyer will be 110% satisfied with the work thats going to be done on the motor.

all that doesn't matter. The fact is, that it has a rebuilt, non-original block (and therefore, not matching numbers) motor in it. Period. I'd say 15k.

i HIGHLY doubt u know him...very few people doo...his shop is called Phase X his name is Tico and he got that shop name because he just built a supercharged real wheel drive focus and that was the name of the project. Turned out badass.Track car. He had a take him an R and told him to just do him a few suspension mods for the street...he took it to some track races and placed very high and just made it a track car.
