right conditions for vtec to activate

Default right conditions for vtec to activate

I did a Mini-me swap on my engine.

d16y8 head on d16a6 block.

i now have vtec , in order for vtec working right , do i need a vtec oil pump , and belt. I have field's vafc already.

Now you dont need the vtec oil pump for it to work.It works on oil pressure i beleive also i think it has to be at normal operating temp.I tried going into vtec when its a little cold and nothing happend.

I believe when engine warms up...

also tried when not warmed up... no vtec...
