sounds like you've got a freon leak. they can run dye through the system and find it, usually fairly simple test.

OK here is what you can do yourself

1. Go to AutoZone or your favorite auto store and by the following

1. a recharge kit with leak detector dye (usually yellow or red colored)
2. start car and put a/c on MAX settings (I'd leave a window open)
3. add leak detector dye
4. look for leaks
5. once leak is found take car to A/C center and have them remove all R134a
6. If you can, make repairs otherwise have above shop do it (I's recommend HONDA dealer). Make sure that you replace receiver dryer, and I would go as far as to replace all O-Rings. (honda sells them as a kit)
7. place system on a vacume for at least 8 hours but I would go for 12 (this ensures that the system is purged of any air and or debris.
8. add proper amount of charge and make sure that there is leak detector dye in it.
9. check for leaks and repair (if the system held the vacume, it should not leak)

chances are it's gonna be either an o-ring or a hose that is leaking

I don't know if this will help but I put too much freon in my car and that made the A/C less cooler. I just released some of the freon back out and then I got coldness.
