Now you boys know I've got the scoop!

The car is out of Wilmington via Chicago. It was sold to a guy name Preston that owned the car for quite a while. He didn't really know what it was, but he liked and bought it off his friend. Preston is a good ole boy and tended to live a pretty wild lifestyle. The road he lives on has a really nice curve right-hand curve on it and while intoxicated, he veered wide and clipped a vehicle head on. Well...he had let the insurance lapse on the car since he was in debt. Not sure what happened with the wreck, but that is the story. So..the car sits for a year at least in his backyard. Several of us go look at it and offer to buy it. He wants more than we're willing to pay. The frame is definitely bent and the tranny/pass. side mount is questionable. This is coming from an Acura-tech and 2x ITR owner that evaluated for me. The paint is really bad because he never washed/waxed it, the tires are bald, and the interior was filthy (Preston was a landscaper). He actually tried to sell it to the local Acura dealership but of course they didn't want it like that. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago Preston disappeared. His house was boarded up and everything was gone. I guess he's fled to SC and possibly unloaded the car to someone.

that's right. the ef will be getting 5 lug and a C5 swap very soon. thanks for letting everyone in on my secret chris.

 

well damn. i can get a whole front clip from an LS and swap it on there. but i got school coming up. might not want to mess with it. i could just let my boss fix it and he could sell it.

Rogersville Rd. He took it from Eastwood heading towards Wrightsville. Not a bad curve at all, but drunk and doin' probably 50+ makes it a whole new ballgame. His house is next to last on left (look for palm trees) before Wrightsville.

I used to live on rogersville, 110. Its the second or maybe third to last on the left before wrightsville. one story house with a shed in the back.
