Tuning? Track conditions could have changed? Driving inconsistency?

Might wanna change that title... higher compression, slower time Tuning... you can't just put in more aggressive cams... and expect BANG... instant power... get that shizznit tuned

When you milled a head you also effect the cam timming. I believe it is every 10 thousands you retard both cams 1 degree.

The best thing to do is use a degree wheel on the crank and find out how much you are off and adjust according or advance the cam 2 degree for each degree you are off on TDC.

If you do not have a degree wheel just advance the cams gears 1 degree per 10 thousands milled.

word so for .030 milled, timing should be +3, +3 for both cam gears to made TDC...im sure everyone could understand that, just an easier way for me to remember it.

thats a good tidbit of info....especially for projects....

The more you mill your head, the more it retards your cam timing. Advance timing on both intake and exhaust sprocket.
